Refining Guide

Refining in Ragnarok Odyssey is simple yet hard

1. Weapon refining adds attack power and could level up your weapon abilities (eg. attack up lvl 1 to attack up lvl 2)
2. After +10, you can extract a card from it, but the weapon will be destroyed in progress.
3. Armor refining only adds slot or maximum cost capacity to equip more cards, maximum upgrade is 20 slot or 100 cost capacity (maximum cards equipped capped at 8)

Notable ability refine
Treasure hunt -> Salvager -> Snatcher -> Scavenger hunt -> Luck up -> Luck conversion

Treasure hunt : increase item collection radius, pretty useless
Salvager : increase quality from boxes, etc
Scavenger hunt : increase quality from monster drops
Luck up : increase quality from quest rewards
Luck conversion : increase chance to get bosses cards

The trick : Marathon refining
Make sure you have enough materials before doing this trick. If you have enough materials to upgrade it to +10, then you're set!
I will use above abilities for the example (Weapon with  salvager, snatcher or scavenger hunt is preferable)

1. Do the upgrade from +1 to +7, if there is no change reset and load up your game, repeat until it leveled up (save it after leveled up)
2. Take a quest, abort and get back to the blacksmith to upgrade it to +8, if there is no change reset and load up your game, repeat until it leveled up (dejavu)
3. Repeat until +10 and extract it to become a card if needed

Other refining mechanic is your weapon's rank, the card you get from high ranked weapon will have a lower cost than low ranked weapon. The bad side is material collection will take a long time... really long time...
